Staffing and recruiting a right employee to right position is a tough, time consuming job. But, nevertheless, an important step in the success of any organization. Rather than getting into the details of staffing and recruiting process, I especially want to focus on staffing and recruiting through outsourcing.



HR outsourcing is another option for hiring and recruiting employees. It means, a staffing and recruiting company performs all or part of recruitment process for an employer or specifically for a company. This will improve a company's time to hire, increase the quality of the candidate pool, provide verifiable metrics, reduce cost and improve governmental compliance.

An RPO provider can provide its own or may assume the company's staff, technology, methodologies and reporting. In all cases, RPO differs greatly from providers such as staffing companies and contingent/retained search providers in that it assumes ownership of the design and management of the recruitment process and the responsibility of results."




In the context of Nepal, though outsourcing of staffing and recruiting of employees is new, lately this has immensely flourished and has been opted by both the "job seekers" and "job givers". It has gained abundant popularity in the fields such as banking, INGOs, corporate houses etc. As we can see the benefit is for the both; the employers and the job seekers.



This simplifies the tasks, cost and time associated with the staffing, recruiting and basically human resource of any company and the need to look for the job by the job seekers. Hence, staffing and recruiting companies act as a bridge between the candidates and the employers. However, the placement could be temporary or permanent.



Not only the costs associated with recruitment are reduced but it also helps improve the company's competitive advantage in the labor market. This is also one of the reasons why staffing and outsourcing companies are growing tremendously. The other reason is also that they do the job of "searching for the right job" for the job seekers. All they need to do is drop their CVs to these companies.
